Have you ever wondered how many more clicks someone that ranks position #1 on page #1 on Google? Here are some interesting facts:

• Position #1 on average gets 33.4% of all traffic from a Google search
• Position #2 gets 17.5%
• Position #3 gets 12% of the clicks.

The following graph show clicks by position. What this graph tells us is that you have to be on page #1 or page #2 of a search result to be found and obviously higher up is better.
